WHAT IS CMA FOUNDATION COURSE
The CS Executive program is a professional course offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). It is the second level of the Company Secretary (CS) course, which is a professional qualification for individuals seeking a career in the field of corporate law and governance. The program is divided into two modules: Module 1 and Module 2.
The CS Executive program covers various topics such as company law, economic and commercial laws, capital markets and securities laws, industrial, labor and general laws, and tax laws. Candidates who successfully complete the CS Executive program are eligible to appear for the final level of the CS course, which is the CS Professional program. Upon successful completion of the CS Professional program, candidates are awarded the designation of Company Secretary (CS).
CA FOUNDATION COURSE DETAILS (ICAI)
The CA Foundation is the entry-level examination for individuals seeking to become Chartered Accountants (CA) in India. It is administered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Candidates who have completed their 10+2 education or equivalent, are eligible to register for the CA Foundation course.
The CA Foundation exam is a center base and it consists of four papers:
- Principles and Practices of Accounting
- Business Laws, Ethics and Communication
- Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics
- Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge
Once a candidate successfully clears the CA Foundation exam, they are eligible to move on to the next level of the CA course which is the CA Intermediate level. This consist of two groups in which candidate need to pass both groups separately for getting eligible to appear for final level of CA course.
WHAT IS THE CMA FOUNDATION COURSE (ICMAI)
The CMA (Certified Management Accountant) Foundation course is the entry-level examination for individuals seeking to become certified management accountants in India. It is administered by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).
The CMA Foundation course consists of four papers:
- Fundamentals of Economics and Management
- Fundamentals of Accounting
- Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics
- Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics
The CMA Foundation exam is a computer-based test (CBT) and it is conducted twice a year, in June and December. Candidates, who have completed their 10+2 education or equivalent, are eligible to register for the CMA Foundation course.
Once a candidate successfully clears the CMA Foundation exam, they are eligible to move on to the next level of the CMA course which is the CMA Intermediate level. CMA Intermediate level also consist of two groups, in which candidate need to pass both groups separately for getting eligible to appear for final level of CMA course.
