Waiver of Late Fee for Submission of Examination Forms for December 2024 Session of CS Examinations

In light of recent technical issues with the system, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced an important update for all students preparing for the December 2024 CS Executive and Professional Programme Examinations. To accommodate these challenges, the following changes have been made:

1. Waiver of Late Fee:

The late fee for submission of examination enrollment applications has been waived. Students now have additional time to submit their forms without incurring any penalties.

• The new deadline for submission of examination enrollment forms without late fee is extended to 10th October 2024 (previously 25th September 2024).
• For those who still need extra time, applications can be submitted with a late fee between 11th October 2024 and 15th October 2024.

After 15th October 2024, no examination enrollment applications will be accepted under any circumstances, so be sure to complete the process on time.

2. Refund of Late Fees:

Students who have already paid the late fee of Rs. 250/- will be refunded. This waiver ensures that no one is financially disadvantaged due to the earlier technical issues.

3. Extension for Paper-Wise Exemption & Module Addition:

The deadline for submitting applications for paper-wise exemptions based on higher qualifications (e.g., LL.B., ICMAI Final Pass) has also been extended. You now have until 15th October 2024 (previously 10th October 2024) to submit your exemption requests or add additional modules for the December 2024 session.

4. Change Request Window:

The Change Request Window will now open from 16th October 2024 (previously 11th October 2024) and remain open until 20th November 2024. During this period, students can make necessary changes to their examination applications, such as exam center preferences or module selections.

5. No Change in Examination Dates:

Please note that there is no change in the schedule for the December 2024 CS Examinations. The exams will commence from 21st December 2024 as per the original schedule.

This extension is a golden opportunity for those who were facing difficulties in submitting their examination forms on time. Take advantage of the extended deadlines, ensure your applications are in order, and focus on your preparation for the upcoming exams!
