Important Update: Rescheduling of CA Foundation Examination January 2025

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an important notice regarding the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination, scheduled for January 2025. In consideration of the upcoming Makar Sankranti/Bihu/Pongal festivals across India, the examination originally slated for January 14, 2025, has been rescheduled to January 16, 2025.

Revised Schedule for CA Foundation Examination

The updated examination dates are as follows:

• 12th January 2025
• 16th January 2025
• 18th January 2025
• 20th January 2025

Important Notes for Candidates

1. Intermediate Examination Unchanged
   The rescheduling applies only to the Foundation Examination. The CA Intermediate Examination will follow its previously announced schedule for January 2025.
2. No Changes for Public Holidays
   If any of the revised exam dates coincide with a public holiday declared by the Central or State Governments, the examination schedule will remain unchanged.
3. Details from Earlier Announcements Hold Valid
   All other details from the ICAI’s announcement dated September 20, 2024, will remain valid. Candidates are advised to review that notice for additional information.
