Announcement: Cut-off Date for Enrollment in Foundation/Intermediate Course

We are excited to announce a significant update regarding the examination schedule and enrollment process at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Starting from May/June 2024, we will be transitioning our Intermediate and Foundation course examinations to a thrice-yearly schedule. Examinations will now take place in the months of May/June, September, and January, providing enhanced flexibility and opportunities for our esteemed students.

Key Changes:

• Examination Frequency: Intermediate and Foundation course examinations will now be held thrice annually.
• CA Final Course: CA Final course examinations will continue to be held twice a year in May and November.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for enrollment in the Foundation and Intermediate courses:

• Foundation Course: Registered with the Board of Studies for a minimum of four months before the examination month, along with other specified eligibility conditions (Regulation 25F).
• Intermediate Course: Registered with the Board of Studies and completed a study course for a minimum of eight months before the examination month, along with other specified eligibility conditions (Regulation 28G).

Important Dates:

• Foundation Course (September 2024 Examination): The last date for registration is 1st May 2024.
• Intermediate Course (January 2025 Examination): The last date for registration is 1st May 2024 for both routes.

Note: Students who registered for the Intermediate Course either through the Foundation Route or Direct Entry Route up to 1st January 2024 are eligible for the September 2024 Intermediate Examination.
