ICMAI Foundation Course Examination June 2025: Everything You Need to Know

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the timetable and important details for the upcoming Foundation Course Examination scheduled for June 2025. This exam will be conducted in an offline OMR-based mode across various centers.

Exam Schedule and Structure:

The Foundation Course Exam will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 in two sessions:

• Morning Session (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon IST)
  • Paper 1: Fundamentals of Business Laws and Business Communication (100 Marks, 50 MCQs)
  • Paper 2: Fundamentals of Financial and Cost Accounting (100 Marks, 50 MCQs)
• Afternoon Session (02:00 PM to 04:00 PM IST)
  • Paper 3: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics (100 Marks, 50 MCQs)
  • Paper 4: Fundamentals of Business Economics and Management (100 Marks, 50 MCQs)

Each session will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 2 marks. The total marks for each session will be 200.

Key Points for Candidates:

• No negative marking for incorrect answers.
• Admit cards will include detailed instructions.
• Results will be published by July 8, 2025.

Exam Fees:

• Indian Candidates: ₹1500
• Overseas Candidates: USD 100

Application Procedure:

• Applications must be submitted online through ICMAI’s official website.
• Payment options include Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking, or Payfee Module of IDBI Bank.
• Deadline for application without a late fee is April 15, 2025. Late applications accepted until April 22, 2025, with an additional late fee of ₹500.

Examination Centers:

The exams will be held at multiple centers across India, including major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and international centers at Bahrain, Dubai, and Muscat.
