About CS Executive
CS Executive is Second Leve of Company Secretary Course. Admission to the CS Executive Course is open throughout the year. Students who have passed CSEET (CS foundation) exam, are eligible for CS Executive registration and CS Exam is conducted twice a year in June & December.
Eligibility
Passing of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is mandatory for all candidates to register for the CS Executive Programme, except a few exempted categories of candidates.
All Graduates/ Post Graduates are eligible for registration directly to CS Executive Programme and they are exempted from CSEET exam.
Exemptions from CSEET
Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and/or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall pay `5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) towards exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive Programme.

*ICSI Syllabus 2022 aims to inculcate principles, laws and interpretation at the Executive Level, in this regard, the grouping of Papers under Group 1 of the Executive Programme has been done keeping in view the critical aspects of ‘Ease of Learning’; ‘Balancing of Theoretical / Legal and Practical Papers’ and ‘Strengthening of fundamental concepts having relevance in the Papers covered under subsequent Group 2. In light of these facts, the students are advised to give the priority to Group 1 while appearing in Executive Programme Examination.
Mode of Examination : Combination of both 20% case based objective type questions and 80% descriptive questions at all papers at Executive Programme except Paper No. 4 i.e. Corporate Accounting and
Financial Management which is 100% descriptive.
Duration : 3 Hours (each paper)
Marks : 100 Marks (each paper)
OMR Based and MCQ Paper of CS Executive: Tax Laws, Corporate & Management Accounting And Financial & Strategic Management (Paper 4,5 & 8) are Multiple choice Question-based.
Passing Criteria
CS Executive Examination Passing Criteria: Students be declared ‘PASS’ in CS Executive on securing 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate.
Declaration of Result CS Executive
Result of CS Executive Examination conducted in June and December will be Declared
- Declaration of Results of December Examination – 25th February
- Declaration of Results of June 2020 Examination – 25th August
FAQs for CS Executive Coaching Classes
Q1. How many attempts we can give in CS executive?
Ans.: For CS executive, 10 attempts are allowed. For CS Foundation, 6 attempts are allowed while 10 attempts are allowed for CS professionals.
Q2. Can I directly give CS executive?
Ans.: You can get direct entry to the CS Executive program if you have passed the entrance exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
Q3. How much percentage is required for CS after graduation?
Ans.: There are no any percentage criteria for admission in CS (Company Secretary) course. As you have completed your graduation, You can get admission directly to CS Executive course. You must have passed (10+2) in any stream from a recognized board.
Q4. Who is eligible for CS Executive?
Ans.: To appear in any CS Executive exam session (June/ December), candidates need to register for a CS Executive programme at least 9 months before the exam. Age Limit – Candidates should be above 17 years of age before CS Executive registration.
